Your Rights are Under Attack
Your right to own and breed dogs is under attack. Throughout the country last year we experienced an unprecedented increase in legislation that infringes on the rights of responsible owners and breeders. Already, many similar bills have already been introduced for 2010. Guess where the money comes from to fund the political machine that is making this possible.
There is no legal definition of the word "puppy mill". It is a derogatory term used by animal rights activists against anyone who breeds dogs, regardless of the care they receive. It is discriminatory and highly offensive to legal, licensed professional breeders and is no more acceptable than using slang terms for those of different ethnic backgrounds.
The HSUS is the largest animal rights organization in the United States, soliciting charitable donations from unsuspecting people who think they are helping animals when in fact, most of the money is used for political purposes. The HSUS does not run shelters for animals, find homes for animals, nor do they help in disaster relief. For instance, during Hurricane Katrina, they solicited over $30 million in donations and did not help animals until the Louisiana Attorney General conducted an investigation. Only then did they give a paltry sum to help animals.

The HSUS does not want clean cages for animals; they want empty cages!
There are good people that work on a volunteer basis in our local animal shelters and all they want to do is help the unfortunate. If their minds had not been so poisoned by the professional impression twisters against anyone who even thinks about breeding a dog, we could all work together to make a better world for all animals. The 150 million dollars that goes to the HSUS and the 27 million dollars that goes to PETA could be given to the local shelters. The money we have to spend to defend ourselves against these Humaniac minds and their kooky ideas could go to help local shelters. We could work together.
A statement made by HSUS president Wayne Pacelle in an email to Mr. Losey shook me to my core. Everyone needs to realize that the organizations know as HSUS and PETA exist for only one reason. To eliminate any and all contact humans have with animals, from the eggs you had for breakfast right down to Fido that is sitting in your lap. Mr. Pacelle said that ALL DOG BREEDERS ARE PUPPY MILLS, ALL FARMERS ARE COMMERCIAL FARMERS AND ALL HUNTERS ARE POACHERS!
Please give to your local shelters, volunteer to help them but whatever you do, be educated before you give another dime to HSUS or PETA.
